GEORGIA

Ron Kemp  Member of: Roswell, GA.Magnolia Cluster Group, SOS and NSN

Ron is an amazing teller with the gift of "back porch" telling that holds the listeners 'til the very end.  He crafts his "tall tales" so well that you are sure everything is absolutely true.  Then the zinger at the end of the story let's you know he is just spinning another tale or sometimes....it leaves the ending to your imagination.

He is on the organizing committee for the Magnolia Storytelling Festival and other Roswell storytelling events. Ron is a great master-of-ceremonies as well as a gifted teller and knows and tells about Roswell and this area of Georgia as no other teller does.  Ron placed 2nd as Storyteller of the Year at the Sweet Corn Festival in Millersport, Ohio on 9/1/2001.

Magnolia Cluster Group, and Southern Order of Storytellers (SOS).

She has shared those stories at SOS Tellabration, the Atlanta History Center, the Atlanta Children's Shelter, Winter Storytelling Festival, Callanwolde, and private parties. Martha was an alternate finalist for "Storyteller of the Year" at the Sweet Corn Festival in Millersport, Ohio.
